If you have a caravan on a park you are essentially in competition with a fuck load of other caravans all vying for the same business. Same with most kinds of park type accomodation. On the other hand if you wanted to live in it cheaply, as millions are now doing, its a fucking beaut. Cheap an usually somewhere really nice. Well its as nice as the place you put it or buy but there are loads of great places.
Best of both worlds is live in it most of the time and rent at peak time which should make you enough to cover all costs.
There are a lot of not so stupid pikey people out there.

Mrs BC worked in our own Travel business out here if you are relying on Holiday Lets don't do it IMO The turnarounds every 2 weeks the cleaning Bills alone took most of any profit plus other nightmares. If you can get that level of Rental Income on a long term let with half decent tenants seems OK. People on Holiday do not look after rented accomodation is my 15/20 years of experience.Worst were those making a reservation for a young couple who regularly brought 2 or 3 other couples with them. Could right a book on the subject of the disasters we had sadly with mainly British Tourists.

Ah yes you did. So 7k is still dependant on it being fully let. For 3.5k PA it’s risky I’d say as issues with them can become expensive. Each to their own I suppose.

asm i said 13, the net is about 7k if fully let. Even assuming its let half of the time brings in a net of 14%

15k PA, you sure? You also have to pay rent to keep it there I think.
Personally I wouldn’t bother as they need a fair bit of maintenance and I doubt you’ll clear anything like 15k.
